Music is my passion and has always been the one constant in my life. From my earliest of years I always knew that this would be the one thing I would pursue. Fast forward to 30 years later, and here I am, telling the story I wrote so long go.
I'd like to tell you it was easy, and that's because it was. Practicing or rehearsing was something I couldn't get enough of. I was that one kid who wanted the piano lessons and was happy spending the hours toiling away at the fret board of a guitar.
And as I got better, everything just seemed to fall into place. I started lining up gigs at local bars & restaurants performing with a friend from my high school. I soon realized that in order to keep busy, it would be a good idea to cover everything from children's entertainment o senior's homes and everything in between. If someone's looking for live entertainment, I can almost always cover it. Even if it's country music, lol.
These days, well before Covid hit, I've had the pleasure of performing all over the place. Folk festivals, major community events, libraries, museums, First Nations communities, bars & restaurants are just a few of the places you'll see me performing at.
And even though I've been at this for over 30 years now, I feel like I'm just getting started. I've learned an awful lot about the music business over all of this time, and I haven't regretted any of it. I'm right where I want to be, and that's in front of an audience sharing in my passion.
